What’s happening around our club?

Sponsorship / Marketing

Our team of David Wilson, Geoff Kelly, David Connally, Peter Young, Brian Wilkinson, Hayley Lawton, Neil Corbett, Dean Brooks and Mick Devlin have already been active in their role in preparing for the 2021 season.

They are always looking for ideas to improve the way we operate and would be keen for any assistance from all club people. That assistance can be in the form of joining their group (Flip is keen to get a couple of younger people on board), providing feedback from existing sponsors or supporters, or by way of introducing the team to any prospective sponsors.

Our sponsors are the backbone of the financial security of our club and we thank our marketing team for all of their great work and as always please look to support our sponsors because we need to support those who support us.

Volunteers

The Echuca Football Netball Club is fortunate to have many volunteers fulfilling important roles around our club – BUT WE CAN ALWAYS HAVE MORE TO SHARE THE LOAD.

A strong club has new people with new ideas becoming involved on a regular basis. If you have a particular interest in an area of club operations, or you are just happy to contribute, I encourage you to consider helping our club as we continue with our aim to be a strong, successful and sustainable club for the short and long term.

We are particularly interested in people who can assist with the following:

  • Canteen: a critical service on match days and on Thursday nights and an important revenue source.
  • Media: As a committee we understand that social media is crucial and we need assistance in this area from people who have plenty of ideas that can benefit our club
  • Social/ Fundraising: to assist with the planning and delivery of social and fundraising events across all areas of our club.
  • Past Players Membership: We would love to have some past players to step up and look after an area of our club which we see as being extremely important to our future.

A key factor in the sustainable operation of a community club such as ours, is to have many people sharing the load by taking on a small role. Think of what skills you have and how they might be applied to help the Club continue to grow.

We will have a meeting in early February where we will be looking to expand on the above and fill all of the necessary roles we need to.

Netball:

Following the recent Netball AGM there has been some changes, firstly we would like to thank Amanda and her committee for the all the great work they have done for the Netball Club in recent years.
